Doug brings such a wealth of knowledge to our firm. He started accounting in 1981 working for the “Big 8 firm” Deloitte Haskins & Sells. With 40+ years of experience, he's worked with tax law from small businesses and individuals to large corporations and partnerships. His specialties include: construction, professional practices, and small businesses. Focusing on the relationship between entities and their pass though income has been his lifelong passion. Moreover, helping those with individual tax returns and how pensions and other tax structures can reduce taxes.
If he's not poring over taxes in his office at 5am, he's talking brisk walks with his wife, Suzanne and their dogs. Doug really loves what he does! Sometimes, at our local business get-togethers, you might catch him sharing something new about taxes to whomever is willing to listen!
